Chip in to launch a high-impact ad campaign calling on Trudeau and Freeland to clamp down on banks

Despite being flush with cash, Canada's banks are hiking fees for their lowest-paid customers in a massive cash grab.1 Already almost 10,000 people have signed the open letter calling on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Minister of Finance, Chrystia Freeland, to clamp down on banks profiting off of customers during the pandemic — but with banks hiking their fees as early as next week, we need to ramp up the pressure.

If we can raise $7,865 by midnight on Monday May 31st, we’ll flood social media with ads to convince even more people to add their name to the open letter. Then we’ll get the letter in front of Prime Minister Trudeau and Minister Freeland by buying ad space in the Hill Times newsletter — which goes directly to the inboxes of MPs and their political advisors.
