- You could tell them why you think it’s important that nobody has to worry about not being able to pay their rent
- If you have a personal story about yourself or someone you know who’d struggle to pay rent if they lose their job, that would go a long way too.
- You could say that you think it’s unfair for tenants not to have the same protections as homeowners who are being given a break on their mortgage payments
- You could let them know that other countries like Italy have cancelled rent and mortgage payments during the COVID-19 pandemic.
