We've gotten word that Natural Resources Minister Wilkinson is considering pushing it through a multi-billion dollar tax credit for Big Oil to invest in Carbon capture and storage (CCS).¹

While the Oil and Gas lobby has been making big claims that CCS is a way of cutting emissions, hundreds of climate experts and scientists have called their bluff — CCS actually increases emissions and will set us back in the midst of a climate emergency.²

With the federal budget around the corner, we need to go big and loud to get the attention of Minister Wilkins, Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland and Environment Minister Guilbeault.
