Justin Trudeau is rushing to ram through the Kinder Morgan pipeline buyout in the heat of summer -- before MPs, the media and our elected MPs have a chance to understand the consequences of this $4.5 billion fiasco.

At the very least, Trudeau should allow our MPs to carefully study, debate and vote on the details of the buyout before he hands over $4.5 billion of our taxes to a Texas corporation. But instead he’s trying to totally sidestep parliament and ram it through in August, during parliament’s summer break.

Trudeau thinks we’re all too busy with summer holidays to notice what he’s up to --  but if we can show him we’re watching his every move, we could force him rethink his undemocratic plan.
