Urgent news - We have learned that the committee studying voting reform needs to decide their final recommendation this week. 

That means our window to influence this outcome is rapidly closing, and we need to reach the committee with a final message about the importance of making every vote count.

We know that the NDP and Greens support proportional representation, but we haven’t heard what the Liberals want to do yet. 89% of the expert witnesses to the committee who spoke on voting systems, and a majority of people at open mic sessions across the country spoke clearly in favour of proportional representation.[1] Despite this, there’s still a big risk that they’ll give in to pressure from elites who favour the status quo. That’s why we need to remind them to listen to the evidence, and keep their promise to make every vote count.
