Bill C-22 has been stuck in a bureaucratic quagmire for two years. If passed, it will reduce poverty for working aged Canadians with disabilities. It is by no means a perfect bill, but is a first step to bring people with disabilities at least to the poverty line. [1] To get politicians to stop dragging their feet and pass Bill C-22, they need to understand the reality of the disability poverty crisis.

We have a plan to launch a massive ad campaign to reach MPs and make sure they pass Bill C-22 before Parliament pauses for the summer. People with disabilities in poverty can't wait any longer.
We'll crowdsource individual video messages to lift up the personal stories from those most affected by disability poverty, who need this bill passed.

We have a plan ready, but  we're short $5,727 to launch our full ad campaign. Can you chip in what you can to get the personal stories of the people who need the CDB most in front of MPs? It could be what convinces them to pass Bill C-22 quickly before the house recesses for the summer.

• If we raise $1,077 we'll produce a moving video ad and send it directly to MPs inboxes.
• If we raise $2,172, we'll launch targeted ads on social media to mobile phones on Parliament Hill. Imagine an MP getting this video ad for the bill right when they are about to vote on it.
• If we raise $5,727 we'll park a giant video screen in front of Parliament playing the ad, and the stories of the disability community in real time as MPs walk in to vote.
