I'm writing to you today to urge you to address the healthcare crisis immediately with the solutions outlined by nurses, unions and medical experts.

It is unacceptable that children are paying the price for your inaction and missteps and are being forced to wait for surgeries simply because there is no staff to care for them.

First and foremost, you must halt all endeavours to privatize healthcare and immediately increase spending on public healthcare. To address staffing shortages, repeal the wage suppressing Bill 124 to allow nurses the compensation they deserve. Additionally, repeal Bill 7 that sends seniors away from their loved ones because you have failed to address the crisis with the care and compassion it requires.

There are medical experts, workers, and labour unions who know better than you about how to address the crisis they're facing at work. I urge you to listen to them and stop playing politics with people’s health.
