We are living through an unprecedented crisis. The COVID pandemic is exposing the cracks in our systems of support for all of Canada to see. It's up to all of us to deliver a Just Recovery that protects people and builds resilience in a fair and sustainable way, so that everyone is able to recover from this crisis - and better prepared to face the next.

But it won't be easy. Fossil fuel lobbyists are desperate and will stop at nothing to siphon off funding to protect their profits. Right-wing activists are already circling to demand austerity measures and cuts.

The government is going to be under pressure from wealthy interests at every turn. But we have power, too - and when we mobilize a community of thousands to rise up and demand a Just Recovery, we can ensure that we come out of this crisis stronger and more resilient than ever.
