School starts in just 2 weeks. We only have 14 days to stop Ford from throwing Ontario students to the wolves by subjecting them to a dangerous 1998 sex-ed curriculum that fails to cover crucial topics like consent, cyberbullying and sexual identity.

Directors of Education for Ontario school boards have the power to resist Ford’s reckless agenda and teach from the 2105 fact-based sex-ed curriculum. [1] It’s their job to protect kids, but they could be afraid to stand up to the wrath of Ford. 30 school boards have resisted already.

If thousands of us flood the remaining school boards' inboxes with messages of support, it could make them feel secure enough to snap into action and reject the 20-year-old sex-ed curriculum. Will you send an email to the Directors of Education before school starts in 2 weeks?

To the Director of Education,

Please publicly commit your school district to teaching acceptance, sexual, gender and identity diversity, and sexual health issues including consent and internet safety - to the standard set out in the 2015 Health and Physical Education curriculum.

I urge you to stand with the Directors of Education from over 30 other Ontario school boards who have.

The Ontario Catholic Teachers Association says not teaching these topics will harm students and the Elementary Teacher’s Federation of Ontario said they’ll defend anyone who teaches from the 2015 Health and Physical Education Curriculum.

The public will support you for championing the best interests of students. Please commit to teaching these topics in your school district before September 4.
